How much space is available for share?
The size of the space is measured in square feet, based on the dimensions of the area. Note that for Storage Space we assume that there is at least 5-6 ft in height for all of the square footage that you want to share. If part of your space is shorter than this, please adjust your dimensions accordingly. If your space is significantly larger than 350 sq ft, then please reach out to us and we'll give you a more comprehensive quote over the phone.

What level is the space on?
This is primarily to answer the question: Do you have to walk up or down any stairs to get to the space? It's either Yes, you do, which means it's not on the ground level. Or No, you don't, which is ground level. If there is even 1/2 a flight of stairs required to get to the space, please consider that to be Not Ground Level. If there is only a single step up or down, that can still be considered Ground Level

Space Climate Control:
We need to know if the space you'd like to rent will be controlled during the heat of the summer and the cold of the winter. So, it's either Yes - typical for indoors in a house, No, and space is outside - for a shed or an external garage, or No, and space is inside, - for a cold room storage space, an attic that isn't climate controlled or a basement that has no cooling/heating.

Access to your space:
The two options that are important in this category: can the people who you'd rent to access their things 24 hours a day or not. If the answer is sometimes it could be 24 hours, then please answer Less than 24 hour access.

Level of security:
If the space that you'd like to share is locked and secure, then let us know that. If it's not, let us know that too. Unless a parking spot is behind a locked or secured gate, you should always consider that Not locked.

What is the location of your space?
Obviously, values for storage fluctuate depending upon the location. In a busy, downtown core, you're more likely to get a higher rate for your space than if you're more remote. But sometimes, you'll be surprised. There are a number of rural or suburban areas that don't have many larger storage facilities, so storage can fetch a premium! The locations are listed alphabetically by town/city.
